Race for Pride

Milkha Singh at the finishing line of the men’s 200m sprint at the 1958 Asian Games held in Tokyo. Before the start of this race, Milkha Singh had won Gold in 400m sprint while Abdul Khaliq of Pakistan had won Gold in 100m sprint at the event. There was huge anticipation for this race and Milkha Singh won this race beating Abdul Khaliq. During the race, Milkha Singh had pulled a muscle few yards before the finish line and famously tumbled over to win the race.
